With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ariel Rodriguez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benigno Efren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Rodriguez having to interfere. A collision led to Guampacha FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Amadeo Jaunti hit a great ball. After 17 played minutes Atletico Darwin got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Aguilera. Guampacha FC's Amadeo Jaunti got his second yellow card of the match in the 19th minute. The referee ordered Amadeo Jaunti off the ground. After a rather tough play, Guampacha FC's Amadeo Jaunti got a free kick in the 20th minute. If Carmelo Iban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ariel Rodriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Venceslas in the 26th minute of the match. When Nemesio Cordarell fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Darwin's protests and gave Nemesio Cordarell a yellow card for diving instead. Nemesio Cordarell kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Ariel Rodriguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Eutor in the 30th minute of play. Carmelo Iban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Guampacha FC booed when Atletico Darwin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Oskitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lucio Mateo came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Guampacha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucio Mateo couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute Cosme Eutor suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. After 41 minutes, Constantino Kelemen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Darwin and the Guampacha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Constantino Kelemen kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Lucio Mateo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Rodriguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Guzman to make the kick off. Benigno Efren struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Lucio Mateo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Ariel Rodriguez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nicolas Guzman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ariel Rodriguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Lucio Mateo took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Ariel Rodriguez to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Darwin's zone, Lucio Mateo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Rodriguez came out of the goal and Lucio Mateo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benigno Efren struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Ariel Rodriguez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guampacha FC. Carmelo Iban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carmelo Iban got free with Ariel Rodriguez in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ariel Rodriguez made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Lucio Mateo sent off a good shot on target. Carmelo Iban scored 0-3 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ariel Rodriguez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carmelo Iban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Rodriguez having to interfere. Carmelo Iban might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ariel Rodriguez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carmelo Iban ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucas Guillerme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Cordero in the 96th minute of the match.
