Spectators: 5110 (Terracing: 4010, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eugenio Frances kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Brinkmann AFC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Simon Maria hit a great ball. Eugenio Frances fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Sasoin having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Aquilino Guipuzkoa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jesus Sasoin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Eugenio Frances sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesus Sasoin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Frances in the 29th minute of play. Eugenio Frances had several of the Brinkmann AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 31 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Jesus Sasoin as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Olo in the 35th minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Moises Costante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Frances received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jesus Sasoin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, River Plate's Eugenio Frances ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jesus Sasoin. Jesus Sasoin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. If Eugenio Frances had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaac Llorienzo to make the kick off. When Eugenio Frances came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the River Plate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenio Frances couldn't finish the play. Brinkmann AFC's Jesus Sasoin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Guipuzkoa in the 55th minute of play. Eugenio Frances received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jesus Sasoin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugenio Frances in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesus Sasoin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 64th minute Aquilino Guipuzkoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Sasoin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugenio Frances in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesus Sasoin saved Brinkmann AFC from getting behind. Eugenio Frances recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaac Llorienzo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Moises Costante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. If Aquilino Guipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84thth minute of the game Eugenio Frances who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brinkmann AFC's Jesus Sasoin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Aquilino Guipuzkoa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brinkmann AFC's Jesus Sasoin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aquilino Guipuzkoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesus Sasoin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jesus Sasoin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Frances in the 97th minute of the match. River Plate's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
