The long shot by Dante Cibran in the 4th minute really tested Carlos Baladi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Carlos Baladi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Iyan in the 6th minute of play. Carlos Baladi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Remigio Ler. 19 minutes into the match, Club Comunicaciones's goalkeeper Carlos Baladi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lázaro Fonda. Natalio Foro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Aristides Izel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uspallata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Comunicaciones the free kick. The supporters of Club Comunicaciones booed when Uspallata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Izel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Baladi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Iyan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lázaro Fonda struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Carlos Baladi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uspallata. Dalmacio Hodei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Dubardo having to interfere. Carlos Baladi made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Lázaro Fonda sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the match, Club Comunicaciones's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Iyan came free, but Carlos Baladi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 49 minutes, Lázaro Fonda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uspallata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lázaro Fonda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Natalio Foro to strike the kick off in the second half. Santiago Barea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Baladi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Faro in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Lázaro Fonda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 62 played minutes Club Comunicaciones got a freekick which was hit by Severino Fonda. Bonifacio Iyan might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Baladi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bonifacio Iyan ran back to his position shaking his head. If Lázaro Fonda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natalio Foro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Dubardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 80th minute Bonifacio Iyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Baladi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bonifacio Iyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the game, Severino Fonda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Comunicaciones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uspallata the free kick. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Comunicaciones! In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Uspallata. Dante Cibran stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carlos Baladi. 3-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Uspallata had played much better football throughout.
