Tupungato's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Hermengildo Canor scored to the left of an out of position Sebastian Sagrario, making the score, 1-0. After 31 played minutes Tupungato got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Cordarrell. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermengildo Canor in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Sagrario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute, Rodolfo Mundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tupungato's Hector Weterio got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodolfo Mundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Silbestre having to interfere. When Marcos Cugat came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Tupungato fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Cugat couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Ambizurdos's Jonathan Izotz got a free kick in the 43rd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Tupungato may have spent more time on the ball, but Ambizurdos were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
