Placido Gutierrez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Placido Gutierrez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Claude in the 10th minute of play. When Saturnino Intxixu fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gerli City FC's protests and gave Saturnino Intxixu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Saturnino Intxixu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Valentin Dalmau dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Placido Gutierrez, 2-0. Placido Gutierrez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Dalmau in the 17th minute. Saturnino Intxixu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All Blacks's Horacio Iratze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Isusko in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Luisito Ayala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gerli City FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luisito Ayala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horacio Iratze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, All Blacks's Ruben Claude got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in All Blacks's zone, Tobias Isusko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horacio Iratze came out of the goal and Tobias Isusko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horacio Iratze didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luisito Ayala went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, All Blacks's Rigoberto Damario got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Saturnino Intxixu hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Luisito Ayala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horacio Iratze read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emilio Matai to make the kick off. Tobias Isusko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 53 minutes into the match, All Blacks's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Cilio came free, but Horacio Iratze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saturnino Intxixu struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Horacio Iratze didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gerli City FC. With his leg Horacio Iratze managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Gerli City FC's Luisito Ayala fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Placido Gutierrez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Dalmau in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Adolfo Feliz made a precise shot to the right of Placido Gutierrez. Gerli City FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Emilio Matai took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Placido Gutierrez. Placido Gutierrez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Vinicio Luix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Placido Gutierrez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Placido Gutierrez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Matai, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Luisito Ayala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Tobias Isusko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Horacio Iratze. That made the score 4-2 in the 87 minute of play. Luisito Ayala struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Horacio Iratze didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gerli City FC. Luisito Ayala might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Horacio Iratze. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luisito Ayala ran back to his position shaking his head. All Blacks's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
