The referee ignored Napaleofú FC's protests and gave Cristobal Peli a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Napaleofú FC's Cristobal Peli got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 4th minute, Cristobal Peli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Hibai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Prejun's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Pedro Hibai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Patrido in the 8th minute of the match. Aurelio Erramun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruben Baumar in the 10th minute. In the 17th minute, Marco Prejun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, Silvio Hodei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Napaleofú FC's zone, Feliciano Mannie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Hibai came out of the goal and Feliciano Mannie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Marco Prejun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Napaleofú FC's Pedro Hibai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcelo Hug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaudencio Patrido hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Napaleofú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Hug came free, but Pedro Hibai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Alberto Javiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tionso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Javiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Erasmo Lalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Prejun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44thth minute of the game Marco Prejun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Napaleofú FC's Pedro Hibai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcelo Hug received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Pedro Hibai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tionso FC's Freddy Costante got a free kick in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Gaudencio Patrido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Hibai having to interfere. Marco Prejun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Napaleofú FC's Pedro Hibai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Napaleofú FC from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the game, Marcelo Hug cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Pedro Hibai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 62 minutes of play, Tionso FC's Marco Prejun made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Hibai was left in no man's land by his defense there! Freddy Costante hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruben Baumar in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Erramun saved Tionso FC from getting behind. Pedro Hibai made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Gaudencio Patrido sent off a good shot on target. Marcelo Hug recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Marco Prejun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Napaleofú FC's Pedro Hibai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Napaleofú FC from getting a goal against them. Marcelo Hug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolfo Millan during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 played minutes Napaleofú FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Millan. Marco Prejun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Hibai having to interfere. 1-3 became the score in the 97th minute when Ruben Baumar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tionso FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
