In the 4thth minute of the game Eleuterio Eliazar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viamonte's Anibal Tonio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 11th match minute, Club Thunders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Galindo to maneuver through the defense. Viamonte's Erasmo Grabiel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 12th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Leonardo Senen but with some difficulty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vicente Cristofor got free with Leonardo Senen in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Thunders's Eleuterio Eliazar got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Viamonte's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Sarracino came free, but Anibal Tonio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viamonte's Vicente Cristofor got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute Eleuterio Eliazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Tonio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonardo Senen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Cresitobalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anibal Tonio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Sarracino in the 29th minute of play. Eleuterio Eliazar struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Anibal Tonio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Thunders. After 30 played minutes Viamonte got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Tavio. Eleuterio Eliazar scored 0-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anibal Tonio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 35 played minutes Viamonte got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Grabiel. If Eleuterio Eliazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Donato Sarracino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Thunders's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Sarracino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anibal Tonio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Club Thunders were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donato Sarracino made a kick off. Amancio Cresitobalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Senen having to interfere. Anibal Tonio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Sarracino in the 60th minute of play. Viamonte's Anibal Tonio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Viamonte from getting a goal against them. Donato Sarracino was extremely unlucky when he, in the 63rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Vicente Cristofor fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viamonte's protests and gave Vicente Cristofor a yellow card for diving instead. Vicente Cristofor kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Donato Sarracino charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donato Sarracino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Donato Sarracino hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Eleuterio Eliazar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Anibal Tonio made a huge save. Eleuterio Eliazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Anibal Tonio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viamonte's Vicente Cristofor got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vicente Cristofor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 94 minutes into the game, one of Viamonte:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 96 minutes, Club Thunders's Alonzo Jenaro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Anibal Tonio. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Thunders walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
