Cirilo Batista was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 29 minutes into the match, Chorrillos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Ofelio came free, but Cirilo Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Ordono in the 30th minute of play forced Chorrillos AFC's goalkeeper Cirilo Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teobaldo Dei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Nesor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Chorrillos AFC's goalkeeper Cirilo Batista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Liher. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cleto Orlandus to make the kick off. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind LOS INTELECTUALES's goalkeeper Oscar Nesor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rafael Fidensio scored 4-3 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oscar Nesor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The LOS INTELECTUALES fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chorrillos AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
