Cirilo Batista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eleuterio Eliazar went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 12 minutes into the match, Chorrillos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Sarracino came free, but Cirilo Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th match minute, Chorrillos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Dei to maneuver through the defense. After 15 played minutes Chorrillos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Lander. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Alonzo Jenaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Thunders's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonzo Jenaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cirilo Batista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cirilo Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Eguntsenti in the 17th minute of the match. 2-0 became the score in the 20th minute when Eleuterio Eliazar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 25th minute Donato Sarracino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Club Thunders players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
