The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Hechter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The shot was a little too simple and Siro Oier could save by the left post. 55 minutes into the game, Dante Celino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Viamonte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mangoré the free kick. Conrado Tavio's late challenge caught a Mangoré's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anibal Tonio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute, Jesus Salvadore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anibal Tonio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. With an all-out effort, Viamonte's Siro Oier threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amancio Cresitobalo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Delmar Argoitz came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Mangoré fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Argoitz couldn't finish the play. Siro Oier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Cristofor in the 97th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mangoré had won after a very even match.
