One of LOS INTELECTUALES:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Buchardo:s goal. The referee gave Buchardo a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Enzo Ramos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of LOS INTELECTUALES's Oscar Nesor. 0-1. Jacinto Santikurtz charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacinto Santikurtz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jorge Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Oscar Nesor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buchardo. Emanuel Ofelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Albano Cheche made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeronimo Ordono in the 21st minute. Jorge Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Nesor having to interfere. After 25 played minutes LOS INTELECTUALES got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Ofelio. Jorge Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Fernandes was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Filomeno Txanton got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 67 minutes, Filomeno Txanton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buchardo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filomeno Txanton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filomeno Txanton scored 0-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oscar Nesor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th minute Emanuel Ofelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albano Cheche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Fernandes in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Nesor saved LOS INTELECTUALES from getting behind. Jorge Fernandes might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Nesor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Fernandes ran back to his position shaking his head. The Buchardo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
