Amancio Cresitobalo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bonifacio Lano having to make a save. Severo Orti hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Medinas's Vinicio Eron got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Vinicio Eron ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anibal Tonio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Amancio Cresitobalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Bonifacio Lano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mario Ihintza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Vinicio Eron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Tonio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute of the match Medinas got a corner. Viamonte's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gervasio Sergi ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Erubiel Lleir advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-2 in the 36th minute. Amancio Cresitobalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Bonifacio Lano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Medinas's goalkeeper Bonifacio Lano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vicente Cristofor. Severo Orti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Anibal Tonio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Medinas's Vinicio Eron tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After the first half Medinas were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Amancio Cresitobalo made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Viamonte getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Dante Celino hit a great ball. Anibal Tonio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Eron, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 67 minutes, Faustino Urbes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viamonte and the Medinas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Viamonte's Faustino Urbes got a free kick in the 67th minute. Bonifacio Lano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Cresitobalo in the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Amancio Cresitobalo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Medinas's Bonifacio Lano. Bonifacio Lano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Viamonte's Erasmo Grabiel couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 84th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Medinas. Vinicio Eron might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anibal Tonio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vinicio Eron ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Vinicio Eron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medinas's supporters rose to their feet, but Vinicio Eron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anibal Tonio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mario Ihintza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Tonio having to interfere. Bonifacio Lano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Cresitobalo in the 95th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Mario Ihintza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Medinas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
