In the 21stth minute of the game Angelo Leguizamón who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Douglas Haig's Baldomero Indar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute Ciro Hever shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosendo Emesto charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rosendo Emesto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Baldomero Indar came out of the goal and Angelo Leguizamón tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomero Indar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Bihar in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Bihar in the 41st minute of play forced Douglas Haig's goalkeeper Baldomero Indar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erubiel Bihar might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baldomero Indar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erubiel Bihar ran back to his position shaking his head. If Angelo Leguizamón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Baldomero Indar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Bihar in the 47th minute of the match. Rosendo Emesto hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo Leguizamón made a kick off. Ermegildo Millan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Hever, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Cipolletti Redondo's Angelo Leguizamón dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Erubiel Bihar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Baldomero Indar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomero Indar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erubiel Bihar in the 70th minute. Douglas Haig's Ciro Hever got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 77 played minutes, Douglas Haig's Jimeno Modestio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ermegildo Millan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Douglas Haig reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Leguizamón in the 79th minute of play forced Douglas Haig's goalkeeper Baldomero Indar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Angelo Leguizamón fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Baldomero Indar, passed just outside the right post. 85 minutes into the match, Cipolletti Redondo's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Hever came free, but Ermegildo Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Lucas Mateus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 99th minute Angelo Leguizamón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Indar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cipolletti Redondo played a much better game than Douglas Haig and deserved their victory. The Douglas Haig players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
