Spectators: 7037 (Terracing: 5412, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) Teodosio Aimar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Boca Juniors U18 booed when Rosario Master was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Savier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodosio Aimar charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodosio Aimar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Rosario Master's Nereo Miliano got a free kick in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario Master's zone, Saverio Astudillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Koldo came out of the goal and Saverio Astudillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saverio Astudillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Amado Koldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Saverio Astudillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 minutes, Cirilo Eduino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rosario Master and the Boca Juniors U18 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 25 played minutes Rosario Master got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Eduino. Boca Juniors U18's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Teodosio Aimar scored to the left of an out of position Edgardo Ladio, making the score, 1-0. Romeo Peli took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edgardo Ladio. Boca Juniors U18's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Amado Koldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Astudillo in the 35th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Saverio Astudillo in the 38th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Teodosio Aimar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgardo Ladio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saverio Astudillo in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Koldo saved Rosario Master from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Saverio Astudillo made the kick off in the second half. Cirilo Eduino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgardo Ladio having to make a save. Rosario Master's Amado Koldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Astudillo in the 57th minute of play. After 62 played minutes Rosario Master got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Miliano. In the 63rd minute of the match Paulo Abascal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amado Koldo skillfully saved the ball. Edgardo Ladio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Eduino, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 67th match minute, Rosario Master was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Aimar to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Boca Juniors U18's Saverio Astudillo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amado Koldo. That made the score 1-1 after 69 minutes of play. Boca Juniors U18's Mario Salomone got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saverio Astudillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Koldo having to interfere. Saverio Astudillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Amado Koldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amado Koldo made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Mario Salomone sent off a good shot on target. 82 minutes into the game, Saverio Astudillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amado Koldo. Saverio Astudillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. When Boca Juniors U18's Saverio Astudillo in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rosario Master's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors U18's zone, Cirilo Eduino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Ladio came out of the goal and Cirilo Eduino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saverio Astudillo struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Amado Koldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juniors U18. Boca Juniors U18's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
