Edgardo Ladio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Perico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Saverio Astudillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Apolo SFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Marcos Arnalt hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saverio Astudillo in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeo Primeiro saved Apolo SFC from getting behind. In the 18thth minute of the game Saverio Astudillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Apolo SFC's Romeo Primeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Romeo Primeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Astudillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Apolo SFC's Arnoldo Basualdo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Saverio Astudillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Romeo Primeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Basualdo in the 33rd minute of play forced Boca Juniors U18's goalkeeper Edgardo Ladio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes, Ovidio Ellande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boca Juniors U18 and the Apolo SFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Boca Juniors U18 getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ovidio Ellande hit a great ball. Saverio Astudillo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Romeo Primeiro. Apolo SFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Saverio Astudillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Salomone in the 44th minute of play forced Apolo SFC's goalkeeper Romeo Primeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Marcos Arnalt fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Apolo SFC's protests and gave Marcos Arnalt a yellow card for diving instead. Saverio Astudillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remigio Perico was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Apolo SFC booed when Boca Juniors U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Chan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Remigio Perico notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Boca Juniors U18's Edgardo Ladio. Edgardo Ladio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boca Juniors U18's goalkeeper Edgardo Ladio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manuel Osoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Apolo SFC's Romeo Primeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Astudillo in the 71st minute of play. Edgardo Ladio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Honesto in the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors U18's goal looked a bit too open when German Honesto came free, but Edgardo Ladio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Boca Juniors U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Abascal to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Romeo Primeiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mario Salomone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Romeo Primeiro made a huge save. In the 86th minute of the match Boca Juniors U18 got a corner. Apolo SFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Saverio Astudillo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Saverio Astudillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saverio Astudillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Romeo Primeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Mario Salomone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors U18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Salomone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors U18's goal looked a bit too open when German Honesto came free, but Edgardo Ladio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Apolo SFC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
