The referee ignored Rosario Master's protests and gave Nereo Miliano a yellow card for diving instead. Rosario Master's Amado Koldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Bihar in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Bihar in the 35th minute of play forced Rosario Master's goalkeeper Amado Koldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Leguizamón in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Koldo saved Rosario Master from getting behind.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodosio Aimar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes of play, Rosario Master's Cirilo Eduino made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ermegildo Millan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erubiel Bihar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Koldo having to interfere. Severiano Ponciano hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After having played for 75 minutes, Teodosio Aimar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario Master's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodosio Aimar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Rosario Master booed when Cipolletti Redondo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Vigil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cirilo Eduino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Millan having to interfere.
