Celso Donostia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Hever in the 14th minute of play forced FIAT FC's goalkeeper Nicolas Aznaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Hever received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Nicolas Aznaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FIAT FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Fabian Ler hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, FIAT FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Hever came free, but Nicolas Aznaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Celso Donostia notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FIAT FC's Nicolas Aznaro. Nicolas Aznaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FIAT FC's Emanuel Mateus got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Celso Donostia came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Douglas Haig fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Donostia couldn't finish the play. Ciro Hever struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Nicolas Aznaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Douglas Haig. In the 37th minute, Fabian Ler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 42 minutes, Fabian Ler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FIAT FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Ler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jorge Seme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciro Hever to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Douglas Haig's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Mateus came free, but Baldomero Indar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A very good chance. Nicolas Aznaro made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Celso Donostia sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th match minute, FIAT FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Maura to maneuver through the defense. After 71 played minutes, Douglas Haig's Jimeno Modestio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicolas Aznaro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Douglas Haig reached it. Ciro Hever fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Aznaro having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Adan Oihan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FIAT FC and the Douglas Haig players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FIAT FC's Adan Oihan got a free kick in the 77th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Celso Donostia notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FIAT FC's Nicolas Aznaro. Nicolas Aznaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
