Spectators: 7195 (Terracing: 5398, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) Matias Selmo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Fortín's zone, Matias Selmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Tajo came out of the goal and Matias Selmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th match minute, Fortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Louis to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Tajo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 12th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Humberto Gomesano. Alejo Fertus struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Ismael Tajo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Christophersen AFC. Lino Osoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Enrique Pirmin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Rufo charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Rufo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lino Osoro took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Pirmin. Enrique Pirmin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Christophersen AFC's Humberto Gomesano got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute of the match Tomás Evangelista shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enrique Pirmin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Matias Selmo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Christophersen AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Selmo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Lino Osoro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Enrique Pirmin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fortín's Ismael Tajo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Selmo in the 46th minute of play. Enrique Pirmin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Theodore in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lino Osoro to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Christophersen AFC's Cristobal Pueblo got a free kick in the 54th minute. When Cristian Theodore came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Fortín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Theodore couldn't finish the play. Cristian Theodore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalmacio Chuan kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Matias Selmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Tajo having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Matias Selmo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Fortín's Ismael Tajo. Ismael Tajo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86th minute of the match, Lino Osoro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Enrique Pirmin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 91 minutes of play Christophersen AFC's Elias Rufo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Elias Rufo hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
