Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Pablo Silban started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 played minutes, Hernandarias's Edgardo Eder shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alfonso Phelipe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hernandarias reached it. In the 8th minute, Vladimiro Tolino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sergio Tomi came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by River Plate's Pablo Silban. But to his dismay, Pablo Silban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sergio Tomi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Silban in the 19th minute of the match. Sergio Tomi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Mark in the 20th minute of play. Pablo Silban blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergio Tomi having to make a save. Vladimiro Tolino's late challenge caught a River Plate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladimiro Tolino helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Uriel Etxahun took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Alfonso Phelipe to make any attempt to save it. Sergio Tomi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Mark, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Hernandarias's Pastor Mincho got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uriel Etxahun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Alfonso Phelipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. River Plate's Alfonso Phelipe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Etxahun in the 43rd minute of play. Saverio Theobald's late challenge caught a River Plate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saverio Theobald helped the player get up and apologised. Sergio Tomi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Mark in the 48th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Uriel Etxahun made the kick off in the second half. Alfonso Phelipe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Etxahun, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Hernandarias getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Nunez Millan hit a great ball. In the 59th minute Pablo Silban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Tomi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernandarias's Sergio Tomi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Hernandarias from getting a goal against them. If Nestor Mark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Uriel Etxahun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hernandarias's zone, Nestor Mark stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Tomi came out of the goal and Nestor Mark tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute Pablo Silban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Tomi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pastor Mincho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfonso Phelipe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate's zone, Pastor Mincho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Phelipe came out of the goal and Pastor Mincho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uriel Etxahun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Alfonso Phelipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uriel Etxahun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfonso Phelipe having to make a save. 91 minutes into the match, River Plate's Nestor Mark sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergio Tomi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Pablo Silban got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Pablo Silban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Sergio Tomi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
