The audience was convinced that Saturnino Efraim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Turi was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. In the 8th minute Ernesto Hitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Turi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 played minutes Martillo Hammer United got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Lobo. The supporters of Martillo Hammer United booed when Guandacol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Ongile didn't get a good kick on the ball. Efrain Gabon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Martillo Hammer United's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Efraim came free, but Arturo Turi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Lobo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Martillo Hammer United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guandacol the free kick. Rigoberto Lobo hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 21 played minutes Martillo Hammer United got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Lobo. After 23 played minutes Guandacol got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Ongile. Baltasar George sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Guandacol booed when Martillo Hammer United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Azibar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Efrain Gabon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Omar Cordero. Efrain Gabon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. During the 42nd minute of the match Ambrosio Sal completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ambrosio Sal a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Guandacol booed when Martillo Hammer United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Sal didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hector Oinaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Efrain Gabon to strike the kick off in the second half. Arturo Turi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Edgardo Maxin. Omar Cordero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generoso Frasquito in the 58th minute of the match. Hector Oinaz's late challenge caught a Martillo Hammer United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Oinaz helped the player get up and apologised. Saturnino Efraim struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Arturo Turi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guandacol. A collision led to Guandacol getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ernesto Hitz hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Guandacol's Osvaldo Ongile ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arturo Turi. Arturo Turi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The audience held their breath when Prudencio Evangelista in the 68th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Omar Cordero's left hand side. When Osvaldo Ongile came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Guandacol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Ongile couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Guandacol booed when Martillo Hammer United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Azibar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Omar Cordero came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Martillo Hammer United's Efrain Gabon. But to his dismay, Efrain Gabon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 85th match minute, Martillo Hammer United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Frasquito to maneuver through the defense. Martillo Hammer United's Efrain Gabon got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Omar Cordero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Gabon in the 89th minute of play. Efrain Gabon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Baltasar George sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 97 minutes, Osvaldo Ongile managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guandacol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Ongile was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Martillo Hammer United fully deserved thier win.
