THIBAS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in THIBAS FC's zone, Maximo Bittor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santo Xabat came out of the goal and Maximo Bittor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Honorio Otsoko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ve FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Otsoko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximo Bittor struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Santo Xabat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ve FC. Ve FC's Honorio Otsoko got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Maximo Bittor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximo Bittor in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santo Xabat saved THIBAS FC from getting behind. After 34 minutes, Arnaldo Uzuri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ve FC and the THIBAS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arnaldo Uzuri kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. If Maximo Bittor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to THIBAS FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Samuel Burni hit a great ball. In the 42nd match minute, THIBAS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Burni to maneuver through the defense.

In the 51st minute, THIBAS FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Honorio Otsoko fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 65th minute, Maximo Bittor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes in the game Leopoldo Pelagius after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Santo Xabat. A very good opportunity. In the 70th minute, Maximo Bittor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santo Xabat was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Niceto Regis was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Regis in the 74th minute of play forced THIBAS FC's goalkeeper Santo Xabat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorio Otsoko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niceto Regis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santo Xabat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play.
