Sebastian Abascal made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 11thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Melquiades Madeo would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. A collision led to Samuhi getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Arturo Lluis hit a great ball. Rosendo Sanchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Fabio Chaime tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Chaime took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Sanchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Oihenarte charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael Oihenarte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Samuhi getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Sebastian Abascal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Madeo having to interfere. The supporters of Samuhi booed when Necochea AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Patxi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Damaso Dorio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Necochea AFC's Melquiades Madeo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Abascal in the 61st minute of play. 65 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Samuhi's Sebastian Abascal fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Sebastian Abascal struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Melquiades Madeo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samuhi. Mario Frichoso's late challenge caught a Samuhi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Frichoso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, Mario Frichoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Damaso Dorio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Samuhi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 79 minutes into the match, Necochea AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Abascal came free, but Melquiades Madeo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melquiades Madeo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Dorio in the 81st minute of the match. Melquiades Madeo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Dorio in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Dorio in the 84th minute of play forced Necochea AFC's goalkeeper Melquiades Madeo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuhi's Damaso Dorio got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
