Spectators: 6666 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eliseo Fidensio got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Cachiyuyo's zone, Cecilio Patxi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Ebardo came out of the goal and Cecilio Patxi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Sanchez in the 7th minute of play forced Cachiyuyo's goalkeeper Melquiades Ebardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaspar Aballe charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaspar Aballe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th minute, Gaspar Aballe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Fidensio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 17 minutes, Paulino Mannie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Necochea AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulino Mannie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cachiyuyo were furious when Isidro Sarracino was red carded, 21 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cachiyuyo! Cachiyuyo:s Melquiades Ebardo showed great skill when he stopped Astor Bernaldo:s penalty. Rosendo Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cachiyuyo getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Fernando Umbruso hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Paulino Mannie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Sanchez in the 30th minute of play forced Cachiyuyo's goalkeeper Melquiades Ebardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reynaldo Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Paulino Mannie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Ebardo having to interfere. Fernando Lop charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Lop the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Fernando Lop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Necochea AFC's Astor Bernaldo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 46th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cachiyuyo. If Rosendo Sanchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 56th minute Necochea AFC were awarded a corner. Astor Bernaldo went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 56th minute, Mario Frichoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melquiades Ebardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rosendo Sanchez's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 67thth minute of the game Rosendo Sanchez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cachiyuyo's Melquiades Ebardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Necochea AFC's Rosendo Sanchez in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cachiyuyo's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Rosendo Sanchez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Necochea AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rosendo Sanchez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Ebardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute Paulino Mannie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Ebardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Necochea AFC booed when Cachiyuyo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Lop didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Cachiyuyo getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Fernando Lop hit a great ball. Artemio Balesio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melquiades Ebardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Mannie, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Paulino Mannie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
