With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artemio Balesio in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfonso Juvenal saved Fortineros from getting behind. Alfonso Juvenal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Fidensio, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Melquiades Ebardo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Haroldo Txema succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 13th playminute. Eloy Pirro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Ebardo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Fidensio in the 19th minute of play forced Fortineros's goalkeeper Alfonso Juvenal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fortineros's Alfonso Juvenal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Barros in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Fortineros's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Fidensio came free, but Alfonso Juvenal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eloy Pirro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carmelo Obano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Melquiades Ebardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfonso Juvenal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Balesio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Boni kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice moves Artemio Balesio could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Alfonso Juvenal however easily saved by the left post. Artemio Balesio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 75 minutes into the match, Fortineros's goalkeeper Alfonso Juvenal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artemio Balesio. Fortineros's Alfonso Juvenal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Barros in the 84th minute of play. Fortineros's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eliseo Fidensio 86 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Fortineros were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Cachiyuyo to leave the ground with a draw.
