After a rather tough play, THIBAS FC's Samuel Burni got a free kick in the 8th minute. Santo Xabat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Rodas's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Velasco in the 12th minute of play forced THIBAS FC's goalkeeper Santo Xabat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Emanuel Rodas managed to get in a good position for a shot. gilguero's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Rodas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Xabat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fausto Roldanillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Santo Xabat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavio Ortzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Froilan Chorache. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flavio Ortzi ran back to his position shaking his head. Nicasio Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 played minutes THIBAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Burni. After a defensive mix-up in gilguero's zone, Nicasio Galoer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froilan Chorache came out of the goal and Nicasio Galoer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Samuel Burni came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the THIBAS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Burni couldn't finish the play. Angel Bikendi's late challenge caught a THIBAS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Bikendi helped the player get up and apologised. Nicasio Galoer didn't quite understand what happened when in the 45 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicasio Galoer to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in THIBAS FC's zone, Nicasio Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santo Xabat came out of the goal and Nicasio Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santo Xabat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Rodas, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Santo Xabat made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Nicasio Velasco sent off a good shot on target. Nicasio Velasco struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Santo Xabat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for gilguero. A collision led to THIBAS FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Daniel Steven hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, THIBAS FC's Nicasio Galoer got a free kick in the 65th minute. Emanuel Rodas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Santo Xabat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
