Spectators: 7270 (Terracing: 5454, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Damaso Dorio started the match with the kick off. When Paulino Ted fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samuhi's protests and gave Paulino Ted a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Samuhi got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Ted. After having played for 4 minutes, Damaso Dorio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samuhi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damaso Dorio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Fortineros booed when Samuhi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Lluis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niceto Gerazan hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute of the match Jairo Naldo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabio Chaime skillfully saved the ball. Jairo Naldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Chaime having to interfere. With a little luck, Fortineros's Alfonso Juvenal got control of the ball when Gualterio Baraquiel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fortineros's Alfonso Juvenal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Lluis in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, Samuhi's Damaso Dorio made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfonso Juvenal was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 27 played minutes Samuhi got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Baraquiel. After 29 played minutes Samuhi got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Abascal. If Haroldo Txema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fortineros's Haroldo Txema got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eloy Pirro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Haroldo Txema got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damaso Dorio in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfonso Juvenal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Abascal got free with Alfonso Juvenal in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Haroldo Txema was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Fortineros's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Dorio came free, but Alfonso Juvenal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfonso Juvenal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Abascal in the 58th minute of play. Alfonso Juvenal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Dorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When Haroldo Txema came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Fortineros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Txema couldn't finish the play. Alfonso Juvenal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Dorio in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to Fortineros getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Eloy Pirro hit a great ball. Fortineros's Alfonso Juvenal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Dorio in the 97th minute of play. The Samuhi players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
