If Lino Lluciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute, Atilano Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Boca JR's Jonas Perpinya threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lino Lluciano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 15 minutes into the match, SAMPA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Lluciano came free, but Jonas Perpinya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, SAMPA FC's goalkeeper Jonas Perpinya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabio Rufo. If Americo Dino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceferino Luix's late challenge caught a SAMPA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ceferino Luix helped the player get up and apologised. Ceferino Luix hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Tadeo Ospetsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Dino in the 23rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Jonas Perpinya successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 31st minute, Boca JR's Fabio Rufo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonas Perpinya. Jonas Perpinya yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After having played for 34 minutes, Gervasio Gonza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAMPA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Gonza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 37 minutes, Gogo Roland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boca JR and the SAMPA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes Boca JR got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Roland. After recieving a nice pass, SAMPA FC's Americo Dino tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jonas Perpinya came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca JR's Antonio Illart. But to his dismay, Antonio Illart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lino Lluciano was the one to do the kick off. Jonas Perpinya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Lluciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute Antonio Illart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Perpinya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santo Franco lost his temper 55 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 55 minutes into the game, one of SAMPA FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cleto Valiente shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Jonas Perpinya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Roland in the 61st minute of play. When Americo Dino came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the SAMPA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Dino couldn't finish the play. SAMPA FC's Jonas Perpinya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Lluciano in the 73rd minute of play. If Fernando Gorosti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gogo Roland scored 3-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonas Perpinya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 83 minutes of play, Boca JR's Lino Lluciano made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Perpinya was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonas Perpinya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Roland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the SAMPA FC defense, Antonio Illart kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonas Perpinya. The SAMPA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonas Perpinya should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Boca JR had played much better football throughout.
