Spectators: 7230 (Terracing: 5424, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Modesto Balendin kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Gonza in the 3rd minute of play forced Euscadi's goalkeeper Anacleto Lertxun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Euscadi's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Gorosti came free, but Anacleto Lertxun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Euscadi's Anacleto Lertxun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Gonza in the 9th minute of play. Camilo Fero hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Americo Dino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anacleto Lertxun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Gonza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Gorosti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anacleto Lertxun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Gorosti in the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of Euscadi booed when SAMPA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Gorosti didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, SAMPA FC's Nemesio Incendio got a free kick in the 27th minute. Jonas Perpinya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Balendin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Jonas Perpinya successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Euscadi were furious when Edelmiro Seber was red carded, 40 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gervasio Gonza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Americo Dino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Anacleto Lertxun made a huge save. After 57 played minutes Euscadi got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Balendin. The supporters of SAMPA FC booed when Euscadi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Balendin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gervasio Gonza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Anacleto Lertxun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anacleto Lertxun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Gorosti, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Anacleto Lertxun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Gonza in the 65th minute of the match. SAMPA FC's Atilano Fernandes got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Eliu in the 69th minute of play forced SAMPA FC's goalkeeper Jonas Perpinya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SAMPA FC's Jonas Perpinya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Guillen in the 73rd minute of play. Modesto Balendin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jonas Perpinya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Modesto Balendin took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonas Perpinya. Jonas Perpinya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Anacleto Lertxun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Gonza, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
