Serafino Miro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Txartiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After some careless play in the Club Comunicaciones defense, Rolando Nalo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herminio Matteo. The Club Comunicaciones fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herminio Matteo should have stopped the shot. Silvio Etor hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 23 minutes, Ceferino Bernal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Comunicaciones and the C.S. Virrey Arredondo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Ceferino Bernal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Siro Raymon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Comunicaciones's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Raymon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafino Miro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvano Txartiko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serafino Miro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Raymon in the 46th minute of play. Andres Ferrer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Serafino Miro made a huge save. After the first half C.S. Virrey Arredondo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Siro Raymon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to C.S. Virrey Arredondo getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Silvio Etor hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, C.S. Virrey Arredondo's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Bernal came free, but Serafino Miro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafino Miro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Raymon in the 77th minute of play. Serafino Miro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Ferrer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adan Garaona charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adan Garaona the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Herminio Matteo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvio Etor went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Serafino Miro came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Comunicaciones's Siro Raymon. But to his dismay, Siro Raymon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. C.S. Virrey Arredondo were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Club Comunicaciones's much stronger midfield.
