In the 9th minute, Norberto Fonso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramon Etxahun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Rik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atilano Goi charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Atilano Goi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 13 minutes into the game, one of La Gacela FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee ignored La Gacela FC's protests and gave Cecilio Nuno a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, La Gacela FC's Cecilio Nuno got a free kick in the 24th minute. Cecilio Nuno kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Rafael Atarratze was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. Donato Shantala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Norberto Fonso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pascual Rik in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramon Etxahun saved La Gacela FC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Pascual Rik sped through La Gacela FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ramon Etxahun. Pascual Rik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramon Etxahun came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Marayes's Pascual Rik. But to his dismay, Pascual Rik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 64 minutes into the match, La Gacela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Fonso came free, but Ramon Etxahun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramon Etxahun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Fonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 71 minutes, Pascual Rik made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. La Gacela FC's Ramon Etxahun tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th minute, Pascual Rik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramon Etxahun was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Marayes's Norberto Fonso got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Norberto Fonso notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of La Gacela FC's Ramon Etxahun. Ramon Etxahun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 93 played minutes La Gacela FC got a freekick which was hit by Justo Sustrai. In the 95th minute, Norberto Fonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
