The referee showed Erasmo Geofredo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Miguel Sidro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Atarratze in the 26th minute of the match. Justo Sustrai succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. The supporters of La Gacela FC booed when Zorro 86 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Niva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Astor Refugio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Etxahun having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Anier Niva's late challenge caught a La Gacela FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 58th match minute, La Gacela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Raulo to maneuver through the defense. Evelio Idacio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Ramon Etxahun made a huge save. Erasmo Geofredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anier Niva scored 2-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramon Etxahun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Zorro 86's zone, Daniel Estebe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Sidro came out of the goal and Daniel Estebe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Sidro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Atarratze in the 93rd minute of play. Zorro 86 made a substitution. Ignacio Beila replaced Roque Leheren. In the 95th match minute, Zorro 86 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Idacio to maneuver through the defense. When Justo Sustrai came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the La Gacela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justo Sustrai couldn't finish the play.
