The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Tatengue FC booed when Lewes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Henric didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute of the match Silverio Kimetz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valentin Gagriel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Haroldo Benet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 16 in the game by Marcial Bartolome from a close distance when the talented Moises Quentin managed to make a qualified save. Tatengue FC's players were relieved. Haroldo Benet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Moises Quentin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cirilo Umbruso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Valentin Gagriel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Lewes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Bidun to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 27 minutes, Cirilo Umbruso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tatengue FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cirilo Umbruso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience cheered loudly when Silvano Henric's long shot in the 32nd minute became 1-0 when the ball went to the left of and passed Moises Quentin. If Marcial Bartolome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the game, Silverio Kimetz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tatengue FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lewes the free kick. In the 41st minute, Silverio Kimetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lewes's Honorio Oro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Moises Quentin but with some difficulty. When Leon Ler fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tatengue FC's protests and gave Leon Ler a yellow card for diving instead. Leon Ler hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 45 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Lewes's Marcial Bartolome fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Haroldo Benet to make the kick off. Leon Ler kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Haroldo Benet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casimiro Cordarrel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Gagriel having to interfere. Aquilino Caradaro hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Cirilo Umbruso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Valentin Gagriel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Haroldo Benet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lewes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tatengue FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lewes's Haroldo Benet got a free kick in the 66th minute. If Cirilo Umbruso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silverio Kimetz hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Valentin Gagriel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Umbruso in the 72nd minute of play. If Casimiro Cordarrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Benet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Moises Quentin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moises Quentin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Bartolome in the 82nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcial Bartolome in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moises Quentin saved Tatengue FC from getting behind. Ceferino Quinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Gagriel having to interfere. If Haroldo Benet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Quentin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Benet in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Quinto in the 96th minute of play forced Lewes's goalkeeper Valentin Gagriel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
