Alfonso Handi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Atarratze in the 32nd minute of the match. Alfonso Handi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Sustrai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Gacela FC's goalkeeper Ramon Etxahun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 40 minutes, Justo Sustrai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Gacela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justo Sustrai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rafael Atarratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Atarratze in the 45th minute of play forced RC Futbol's goalkeeper Alfonso Handi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RC Futbol's Constantino Beturian was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 48th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

55 minutes into the match, RC Futbol's goalkeeper Alfonso Handi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justo Sustrai. Constantino Beturian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A sloppy throw-in by Paulo Raulo in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by RC Futbol's Augusto Sustrai. Constantino Beturian struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Ramon Etxahun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RC Futbol. After 67 minutes of play, RC Futbol's Constantino Beturian made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramon Etxahun was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the game, RC Futbol's Constantino Beturian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramon Etxahun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Alfonso Handi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Atarratze, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 81st match minute, RC Futbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Enol to maneuver through the defense. After 82 minutes, Teo Caradaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RC Futbol and the La Gacela FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alfonso Handi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Paulo Raulo. In the 88th minute Rafael Atarratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Handi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramon Etxahun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Beturian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the La Gacela FC defense, Constantino Beturian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramon Etxahun. The La Gacela FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramon Etxahun should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that RC Futbol were the better team. RC Futbol's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
