The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Gacela FC. In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for Los Lesionados. Alonzo Vimaro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ramon Etxahun. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Donzel in the 28th minute of play forced La Gacela FC's goalkeeper Ramon Etxahun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Daniel Estebe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Gacela FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Lesionados the free kick. Daniel Estebe hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the game, Los Lesionados's Amadeo Brais nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramon Etxahun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. La Gacela FC's Ramon Etxahun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Brais in the 37th minute of play. Amadeo Brais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Etxahun having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Alonzo Vimaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amadeo Brais to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute Amadeo Brais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Etxahun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justo Sustrai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, La Gacela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Brais came free, but Ramon Etxahun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Atarratze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atilano Goi hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Justo Sustrai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severo Perez was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Los Lesionados's Ildefonso Asteri got a free kick in the 88th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Los Lesionados walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
