Spectators: 7345 (Terracing: 5519, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Benicio Perutxo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Represita getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Marcelino Ovando hit a great ball. If Benicio Perutxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santo Seber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvano Urtsua read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. The supporters of Represita booed when Faro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Eneas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Represita's Elias Bordat tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Faro's zone, Lázaro Idacio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristobal Nafarroa came out of the goal and Lázaro Idacio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcelino Ovando kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cristobal Nafarroa. That made the score 2-0 in the 36 minute of play. If Pastor Belo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pastor Belo to make the kick off. Lázaro Idacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lázaro Idacio struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Cristobal Nafarroa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Represita. Cristobal Nafarroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Belo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. If Lázaro Idacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lázaro Idacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Cristobal Nafarroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Marcelino Ovando notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Faro's Cristobal Nafarroa. Cristobal Nafarroa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristobal Nafarroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Ovando in the 85th minute of play. Lázaro Idacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Represita's Lázaro Idacio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristobal Nafarroa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Santo Seber struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Silvano Urtsua didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Faro. Represita's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
