When Florencio Indartsu came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Marayes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Indartsu couldn't finish the play. Godofredo Donzel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Benicio Bixintxo made a huge save. Florencio Indartsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Perez having to interfere. In the 40thth minute of the game Norberto Fonso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Lesionados's Severo Perez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Norberto Fonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marayes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Fonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Los Lesionados players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Marayes were winning 0-1.

Benicio Bixintxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Brais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benicio Bixintxo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Brais, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santos Gaztea during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
