In the 17th minute, Florencio Indartsu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Silvano Urtsua. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 21st minute Pastor Belo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Bixintxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pastor Belo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Marayes getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Damian Pedroso hit a great ball. If Florencio Indartsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Marayes's Norberto Fonso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvano Urtsua narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pastor Belo scored 1-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benicio Bixintxo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pastor Belo made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Ilazki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvano Urtsua. Represita's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiburcio Ilazki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 60 minutes into the match, Marayes's goalkeeper Benicio Bixintxo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delmiro Panfilo. 62 minutes into the match, Represita's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Indartsu came free, but Silvano Urtsua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Elias Bordat fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Represita's protests and gave Elias Bordat a yellow card for diving instead. Lázaro Idacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Bixintxo having to interfere. Marayes's Benicio Bixintxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Belo in the 75th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Represita's zone, Norberto Fonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvano Urtsua came out of the goal and Norberto Fonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marayes's Benicio Bixintxo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Marayes from getting a goal against them. Pastor Belo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Bixintxo having to interfere. Although Marayes had been in control for most of the match, Represita still came away with the win.
