Santos Lehoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Cordarrel having to interfere. Gualterio Cordarrel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Mikelar went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 25th minute, Augusto Mikelar made a precise shot to the right of Gualterio Cordarrel. Almafuerte AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Gualterio Cordarrel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Gines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Marcelo Gines managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carrisito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Gines was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualterio Cordarrel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgard Bernal charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgard Bernal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes Almafuerte AFC got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Bernal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Mikelar got free with Gualterio Cordarrel in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emilio Elixio made a great header on Carrisito FC's corner, it was just that Almafuerte AFC's Gualterio Cordarrel managed to reach the ball for a save. Igor Frascuelo hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 40th play minutes Augusto Mikelar shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Gualterio Cordarrel and just under the crossbar into goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Carrisito FC's Santos Lehoi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gualterio Cordarrel. That made the score 4-0 after 47 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roque Laurendi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roque Laurendi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th match minute, Carrisito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Lehoi to maneuver through the defense. Augusto Mikelar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Cordarrel having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Ricardo Estefan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Augusto Mikelar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Fresco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Daniel Lluterio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Fresco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Daniel Lluterio firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Marcelo Gines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carrisito FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
