Epifanio Gaufred might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hilario Garikoitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Epifanio Gaufred ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Giro in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hilario Garikoitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Placido Urtungo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Durazno FC's zone, Florencio Abastas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisito Muc came out of the goal and Florencio Abastas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Hilario Garikoitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduardo Giro in the 53rd minute. After some careless play in the Durazno FC defense, Florencio Abastas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luisito Muc. The Durazno FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luisito Muc should have stopped the shot. After 61 minutes, Nicasio Guillelmus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pato mas 6 FC and the Durazno FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Durazno FC booed when Pato mas 6 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Guillelmus didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Pato mas 6 FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Robustiano Poncio hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Eduardo Giro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pato mas 6 FC's Hilario Garikoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Gaufred in the 74th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Eduardo Giro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hilario Garikoitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eduardo Giro went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When Severo Fidele fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Durazno FC's protests and gave Severo Fidele a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Placido Urtungo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pato mas 6 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Placido Urtungo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisito Muc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Placido Urtungo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Muc having to interfere.
