Victorino Fiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Mikelar in the 11th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Blaquier FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Carrisito FC:s goal. The referee gave Carrisito FC a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emilio Elixio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Blaquier FC's Victorino Fiz. 0-1. If Augusto Mikelar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorino Fiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Mikelar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santos Lehoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Victorino Fiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Carrisito FC's Augusto Mikelar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victorino Fiz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emilio Elixio was slow to take the kick. During this time Carrisito FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Blaquier FC's goalie and right to Cosme Jakobe. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Blaquier FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Piearres in the 45th minute of play forced Carrisito FC's goalkeeper Daniel Lluterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evaristo Piearres to strike the kick off in the second half. Carrisito FC's Augusto Mikelar managed to work through Blaquier FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Augusto Mikelar dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Augusto Mikelar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Victorino Fiz made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Augusto Mikelar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carrisito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Mikelar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorino Fiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 94 minutes, Horacio Miliano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrisito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horacio Miliano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Blaquier FC's Teodoro Aznaro got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the match was over Carrisito FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Blaquier FC throughout the match.
