Spectators: 7280 (Terracing: 5462, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 144) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Roque Laurendi made the kick off which started today's match. Roque Laurendi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnoldo Lauren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Gualterio Cordarrel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julian Lluciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Gualterio Cordarrel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Almafuerte AFC's zone, Julian Lluciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualterio Cordarrel came out of the goal and Julian Lluciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st match minute, Almafuerte AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Estefan to maneuver through the defense. If Cipriano Gamus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Simon Fresco sped through Cuervos Rio 4's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gervasio Furtado. After 29 minutes of play, Cuervos Rio 4's Victorino Gil made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gualterio Cordarrel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gualterio Cordarrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Gamus in the 32nd minute of play. Cuervos Rio 4's Gervasio Furtado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Cuervos Rio 4 from getting a goal against them. Leon Seguinus struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Gualterio Cordarrel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cuervos Rio 4. Victorino Gil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Julian Lluciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Leon Seguinus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuervos Rio 4's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Seguinus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualterio Cordarrel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leon Seguinus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gualterio Cordarrel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roque Laurendi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 47th minute. Almafuerte AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Lluciano was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Almafuerte AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Lluciano came free, but Gualterio Cordarrel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 55 minutes, Simon Fresco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almafuerte AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Fresco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Almafuerte AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Julian Lluciano 59 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Almafuerte AFC's Gualterio Cordarrel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Almafuerte AFC from getting a goal against them. Almafuerte AFC's Gualterio Cordarrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Lluciano in the 74th minute of play. Gervasio Furtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Fresco in the 76th minute of play. Almafuerte AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Julian Lluciano scored to the left of an out of position Gualterio Cordarrel, making the score, 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Almafuerte AFC's zone, Victorino Gil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After having played for 86 minutes, Victorino Gil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Victorino Gil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Cordarrel having to interfere. When Julian Lluciano came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Cuervos Rio 4 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Lluciano couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Victorino Gil kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gualterio Cordarrel. That made the score 1-4 in the 90 minute of play. Cuervos Rio 4's Gervasio Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Fresco in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Almafuerte AFC's goalkeeper Gualterio Cordarrel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leon Seguinus. The Almafuerte AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cuervos Rio 4 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
