Gustavo Gai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Siro Abilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christophersen's Genaro Nuxila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Orlondo in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Christophersen's Rodrigo Roldanillo got a free kick in the 19th minute. Genaro Nuxila made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Gustavo Gai sent off a good shot on target. Leonides Blasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Miro having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Arnaldo Orlondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Adrian Cordarell fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Christophersen's protests and gave Adrian Cordarell a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes Christophersen got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Cordarell. Arnaldo Orlondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Genaro Nuxila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Siro Abilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Miro having to interfere. Gustavo Gai scored 1-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Genaro Nuxila, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aquiles Rio charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aquiles Rio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Siro Abilio scored 1-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arturo Miro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lino Bras was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Lino Bras kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Siro Abilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Miro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustavo Gai made a kick off. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Gustavo Gai sped through Christophersen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Genaro Nuxila. Arturo Miro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Cordarell, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Cartucho Futbol Club's Gustavo Gai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Genaro Nuxila narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Adrian Cordarell notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Cartucho Futbol Club's Arturo Miro. Arturo Miro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
