The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anier Argina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Moise in the 8th minute of the match. Benicio Orlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Miro having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Benicio Orlo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Cartucho Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Cayo came free, but Arturo Miro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prudencio Jenaro hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. If Bernardo Cayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Benicio Orlo came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Max Power fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benicio Orlo couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd match minute, Cartucho Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Bras to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Cayo in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arturo Miro saved Cartucho Futbol Club from getting behind. In the 25th match minute, Cartucho Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Bras to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Cartucho Futbol Club's Arturo Miro got control of the ball when Benicio Orlo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benicio Orlo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anier Argina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Orlondo in the 36th minute of play. Bernardo Cayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Cayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Arturo Miro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute of the match Max Power got a corner. Cartucho Futbol Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lorenzo Bero ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Max Power's corner Lorenzo Bero fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arturo Miro quite easily take care of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnaldo Orlondo to strike the kick off in the second half. Arturo Miro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolfo Celino went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Benicio Orlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Miro having to interfere. Adolfo Celino scored 3-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arturo Miro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Cartucho Futbol Club's zone, Bernardo Cayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Miro came out of the goal and Bernardo Cayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Melquiades Moise could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Anier Argina made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Max Power fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cartucho Futbol Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
