Carrisito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Lehoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lino Bras hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Augusto Mikelar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carrisito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Mikelar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Miro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The nice shot from Melquiades Moise in the 16thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Daniel Lluterio had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Augusto Mikelar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arturo Miro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Mikelar's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Arturo Miro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Mikelar in the 24th minute of play. Augusto Mikelar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Cartucho Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Mikelar came free, but Arturo Miro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lino Bras fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cartucho Futbol Club's protests and gave Lino Bras a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cartucho Futbol Club getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Lino Bras hit a great ball. Augusto Mikelar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosendo Dantel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Miro having to interfere. The Cartucho Futbol Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carrisito FC were winning 0-2.

52 minutes into the match, Cartucho Futbol Club's goalkeeper Arturo Miro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Mikelar. When Marcelo Gines came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Carrisito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Gines couldn't finish the play. Rosendo Dantel, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Santos Lehoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arturo Miro made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Augusto Mikelar sent off a good shot on target. Augusto Mikelar came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arturo Miro could save by the left post. Carrisito FC's Agustin Quintun got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Augusto Mikelar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Cartucho Futbol Club getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Prospero Merexildo hit a great ball. With a little luck, Cartucho Futbol Club's Arturo Miro got control of the ball when Augusto Mikelar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arturo Miro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelo Gines's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Cartucho Futbol Club's Arturo Miro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Miliano in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cartucho Futbol Club's Prospero Merexildo got a free kick in the 97th minute. The audience cheered loudly when Cosme Jakobe's long shot in the 97th minute became 0-4 when the ball went to the left of and passed Arturo Miro. Carrisito FC played a much better game than Cartucho Futbol Club and deserved their victory. The Cartucho Futbol Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
