Nemesio Henry's late challenge caught a Pontevedra AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 30thth minute of the game Gaston Berenguer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Farmasolvd's Adolfo Breogan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Ranolfo in the 32nd minute of play forced Pontevedra AFC's goalkeeper Moises Olentzaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Pontevedra AFC booed when Farmasolvd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Mercurio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pontevedra AFC's zone, Feliciano Ranolfo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moises Olentzaro came out of the goal and Feliciano Ranolfo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Farmasolvd fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pontevedra AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
