Moises Milian's late challenge caught a Escriña's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moises Milian helped the player get up and apologised. Moises Milian hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When German Cordara came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Escriña fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Cordara couldn't finish the play. Aaron Abaurre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Honorato Constancio having to make a save. Federico Erlantz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Oinaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Aaron Abaurre came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Escriña fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Abaurre couldn't finish the play. Escriña were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Chatruc FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aureliano Cedro took the corner. The corner led to Escriña's German Cordara getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 40th match minute, Chatruc FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Ortle to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Escriña's Marcial Euloxu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Marcial Euloxu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Escriña protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marcial Euloxu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The goalkeeper, Federico Erlantz, was totally fooled by Chatruc FC's Pablo Azevedo, who 45 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orlando Oinaz to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Aaron Abaurre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Omar Giraldo might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Honorato Constancio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Omar Giraldo ran back to his position shaking his head. Aaron Abaurre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Honorato Constancio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aaron Abaurre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Aaron Abaurre came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Escriña fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Abaurre couldn't finish the play. Chatruc FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pablo Azevedo in the 73rd minute. Aaron Abaurre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Constancio having to interfere. When Mateo Izotz came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Escriña fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Izotz couldn't finish the play. Omar Giraldo struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Honorato Constancio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escriña. Aaron Abaurre in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Honorato Constancio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Chatruc FC's Honorato Constancio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Chatruc FC from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chatruc FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aureliano Cedro was slow to take the kick. During this time Escriña's players had a chance to rest. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by German Cordara during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Escriña getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. German Cordara hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, Escriña's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Oinaz came free, but Federico Erlantz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Escriña's Aaron Abaurre got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Escriña's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Chatruc FC had won, even though Escriña had held more of the ball.
