The corner was taken by Feliciano Maxin in the 11th minute. The corner led to Lavalia's Marcelino Luzea getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Savier in the 14th minute of play forced Escriña's goalkeeper Federico Erlantz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. German Cordara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gaudencio Cesaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When German Cordara came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Escriña fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Cordara couldn't finish the play. Aaron Abaurre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Cesaro having to interfere. German Criston struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Gaudencio Cesaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escriña. Gaudencio Cesaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Cordara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaudencio Cesaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aaron Abaurre in the 28th minute. German Cordara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers German Cordara in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaudencio Cesaro saved Lavalia from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when German Cordara made the kick off in the second half. Jaime Lehoi struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Federico Erlantz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lavalia. After recieving a nice pass, Lavalia's Feliciano Maxin tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Lavalia's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Abaurre came free, but Gaudencio Cesaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lavalia's Gaudencio Cesaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Cordara in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute Aaron Abaurre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Cesaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jaime Lehoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
