Spectators: 6672 (Terracing: 5005, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Simon Gorbea kicked off to start the match. Delmar Karmel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ovidio Johans firmly grabbed it by the left post. Pedro Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Johans having to interfere. Balderramas 99's Ovidio Johans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Balderramas 99 from getting a goal against them. Ovidio Johans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Herminio Oso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Johans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Alvarez in the 14th minute of play. Pedro Alvarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ovidio Johans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Herminio Oso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iker Piarres hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Pedro Alvarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Domingo Sagrario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 27 minutes, Joaquin Tabby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balderramas 99's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquin Tabby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simon Gorbea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Loren having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Domingo Sagrario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Simon Gorbea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Instituto's zone, Simon Gorbea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celestino Loren came out of the goal and Simon Gorbea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Simon Gorbea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celestino Loren was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Pedro Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Instituto's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Alvarez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Johans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Simon Gorbea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Pedro Alvarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 50thth minute of the game Bernardino Cordeara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Instituto's Celestino Loren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Joaquin Tabby blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celestino Loren having to make a save. Simon Gorbea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simon Gorbea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Herminio Oso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celestino Loren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Gorbea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the game, one of Balderramas 99:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of Instituto booed when Balderramas 99 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Piarres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Instituto were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Balderramas 99 for a fine match.
