In the 4thth minute of the game Roman Henry who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chorrillos's Aquiles Malvin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elias Diaz charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Diaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Malvinas getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Elias Diaz hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, Malvinas's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Lamberto came free, but Gabriel Tipi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Henry's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aquiles Malvin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Cristian Ursino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Gabriel Tipi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chorrillos's Genaro Lamberto got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 29 played minutes Chorrillos got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Jurgi. A hard shot by Amadeo Nikola from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Aquiles Malvin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Roman Henry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Aquiles Malvin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aquiles Malvin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Henry in the 36th minute of play. Roman Henry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Henry struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Aquiles Malvin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malvinas. Aquiles Malvin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Henry, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 49th minute of the match Malvinas got a corner. Chorrillos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amadeo Nikola ran over to the corner to take the kick.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roman Henry was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Roman Henry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malvinas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Henry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Cristian Ursino came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Chorrillos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Ursino couldn't finish the play. Cristian Ursino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 65 minutes, Cristian Ursino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 74th match minute, Malvinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Frichoso to maneuver through the defense. Chorrillos's Danilo Udalaitz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Malvinas. When Ubaldo Furtado came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Malvinas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ubaldo Furtado couldn't finish the play. Gabriel Tipi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aquiles Malvin came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Malvinas's Roman Henry. But to his dismay, Roman Henry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chorrillos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
