Jonathan Juvenal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Lavalia's Jaime Lehoi got a free kick in the 19th minute. Jesus Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jesus Rios in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaudencio Cesaro saved Lavalia from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Augusto Nastasio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Jesus Rios had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaudencio Cesaro. Lavalia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jesus Rios was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 33rd minute Jonathan Juvenal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Cesaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jesus Rios in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaudencio Cesaro saved Lavalia from getting behind. Paisa FC's Jesus Rios got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Savier to make the kick off. Matias Haritzeder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Martxot in the 54th minute of the match. Rigoberto Savion was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 57th minute. Paisa FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Gaudencio Cesaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jesus Rios's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Jesus Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Lavalia's zone, Cesar Paez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaudencio Cesaro came out of the goal and Cesar Paez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Jesus Rios could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Gaudencio Cesaro however easily saved by the left post. In the 69th minute, Jesus Rios left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paisa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 73rd minute, Rigoberto Savion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jesus Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Rios in the 83rd minute of play forced Lavalia's goalkeeper Gaudencio Cesaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Lavalia's Romulo Locaio got a free kick in the 84th minute. Desiderio Garci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Gaudencio Cesaro made a huge save. Rafael Vimaro struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Gaudencio Cesaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paisa FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jesus Rios in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaudencio Cesaro saved Lavalia from getting behind. Jesus Rios might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaudencio Cesaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jesus Rios ran back to his position shaking his head. Rafael Vimaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paisa FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
